Game Feast 4 Freedom

We're excited to announce a very special event! Game Feast 4 Freedom will be held in Long Beach, CA on the evening of July 2nd. Experience wild game entrees such as wild antelope, snow geese, pheasant, wild boar, venison, red snapper, yellowtail, chukar and quail! Hosted by Ronnie Kovach's Radio Outdoor Expeditions and Beachwood BBQ, a large portion of the proceeds will directly benefit the Wounded Warrior Project

Rick and I will both be there. If you're in the area, please stop by. Not only will you be able to party among good company and eat actual wild game-- donated by local hunters, you will also be contributing to a great cause, the Wounded Warrior Project. I've had the privilege of meeting and talking to some of these men at the AT&T National golf tournament last summer in Philadelphia, and it was an experience I will never forget. The Wounded Warrior Project helps wounded soldiers transition back to home life and to better deal with the emotional and physical traumas of war. They also provide young wounded soldiers the tools they need to find work or to give back to the community.

For an inside look on the impact of the Wounded Warrior Project, please read my interview with First Lieutenant Ed Salau of the U.S. Army. Scroll down to my Wednesday 6/29 post at the following link. His story amazed me, and it will amaze you, too. Ed is currently a proud volunteer with the Wounded Warrior Project. He helps injured soldiers get back on their feet, most of whom are barely in their 20s.

We hope to see you there! We at Food for Hunters proudly support this event.
